DeSaulnier said Thursday he feels "really good" about this endorsement from "a dear friend," and has discussed his possible candidacy with Tauscher.That could be some time though.
"When she's ready for me to say I'm going in, I'll make that announcement," he said, adding that in the meantime he's starting to gather support, funding and a campaign team.
Maybe eight weeks before a open seat is even announced, and then 120 or so days after that will be the special election. Unless a candidate gets over 50 percent in the primary, which would be 8 weeks prior to the special election, once called....
Can anyone say election fatigue?
