CA10: The List Continues to Grow

|

Yet another populist candidate has announced his intention to run in California's 10th Congressional District.

From Gino VanGundy for Congress
I was blessed to have been born in the greatest nation on earth but I am deeply concerned as I watch it crumble with each passing day. Polarization has taken control of the American political landscape. We need someone in office that will represent the people – not the party. I believe that most Americans are not on the extreme right or the extreme left. Most Americans are sensible, hard working people with dreams of being able to support their family, retire comfortably, and leave a better, stronger America for their children. Unfortunately politics have moved in the direction of extremes. We’re made to feel that if we don’t take an aggressive and extreme stance then we are wishy-washy. Being able to see both sides of an issue was once viewed as sensible; it is now seen as not taking a stand or being weak. What happened to being sensible? Common sense seems to be a thing of the past. These days our eyes look for a “D” or an “R” when we are in the voting booth. We trust in a system of agendas and back room deals instead of what is fair and makes sense. Government no longer seems to be of the people and for the people. It has morphed into a machine that supports corporate agendas and power. One only need look at the current financial mess our country is in to see what I mean. Corporate America gets bailed out and we get stuck with the bill. Meanwhile those of us that have played by the rules get nothing but more taxes and fewer services. Who’s going to bail out those of us that work hard, bought houses we could afford, pay our bills, go to work every day and still struggle to save a dime?

If you’re as frustrated as I am, please support me, Gino VanGundy, for Congress!
While Gino VanGundy & Adriel Hampton have been the only two to officially announce their candidacies...the list of names being floated in CA-10 continues to grow.

So far, on the "D" side of the aisle, there has been talk of Mark DeSaulnier, Joan Buchanan, Dan Richard, Joe Canciamilla, John Garamendi, Anthony Woods, & Adriel Hampton

On the "R" side, some of the rumored contenders include Warren Rupf, Nick Gerber, Tom Del Beccaro, Catherine Moy, David Harmer, Abram Wilson, and Brent Jones

and for the "I"'s we have Scott Talan...and I guess, now Gino VanGundy.

Am I missing anybody?
