John Garamendi seems to be all the buzz since Lisa V.'s article in the Contra Costa Times last weekend with speculation that the Lt Gov & gubernatorial hopeful could be considering a run in California's 10th Congressional District.

Garamendi put out some press releases a few minutes ago, on the letterhead of his 2010 gubernatorial campaign, announcing that he has beefed up his campaign and hired a new campaign new technology officer and a communications consultant.State Sen. Mark DeSaulniers take
The communications consultant will be former talk show host Peter B. Collins, who is well-known in Bay Area broadcasting circles and has been a veteran media consultant for decades.
And Brian Young "will oversee all internet services and strategy for the Garamendi for Governor 2010 Campaign,'' the release said. "Young was the Democratic National Committee's former information services director for five years overseeing the party's first internet technology services."
“People sure will remember me if I run against the lieutenant governor of California,” DeSaulnier said.
